Cancellation and Refund Policy

This page explains the principles of cancellation, withdrawal, and refund regarding the training and consultancy services provided by Sır Akademi Eğitim ve Danışmanlık Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi ("Company"). The following provisions shall apply without prejudice to the provisions of the Law No. 6502 on the Protection of Consumers and the Regulation on Distance Contracts.

2) Right of Withdrawal (Distance Sales)

The consumer may exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 days in distance contracts without giving any reason and without paying any penalty.
The withdrawal period begins on the day the contract is concluded in service contracts.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, it is sufficient to notify the Company within this period by phone or in writing (SMS/WhatsApp/e-mail/post).
The Company shall refund all payments made within 14 days following receipt of the withdrawal notice, using the same payment method used by the consumer.

3) Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

In the following cases, the right of withdrawal may not be exercised or is limited by law:

Services related to leisure activities to be performed on a specific date or period (e.g., scheduled classroom trainings and events).
Services performed instantly in electronic environment or intangible goods delivered instantly to the consumer (e.g., digital training content accessed after purchase), once access has started.
Customized services prepared according to the consumer’s request or personal needs (such as personalized consultancy programs).

4) Training and Event Cancellations

Live/Classroom Trainings: Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the training start date are free of charge. No refund is made for cancellations after 24 hours; however, participation may be postponed to the next period once, subject to availability.
Online Live Sessions: Cancellation/refund requests must be made at least 12 hours before the session starts. No refund is made once the session has started.
Recorded (On-Demand) Digital Content: No refund is made after access/download, as per the exception to the right of withdrawal.

5) Company-Originated Cancellations/Changes

Trainings/events may be canceled or rescheduled due to insufficient participant numbers, trainer changes, or force majeure.
In case of cancellation, the consumer is offered a full refund or, upon request, free transfer to an equivalent program.

6) Refund Process and Payment

Refunds are made using the same payment method used for the order. The time it takes for banks to reflect the refund may vary.
For payments made by bank transfer/EFT, refunds are made to the IBAN provided by the consumer.

7) Return of Physical Materials (if any)

If any physical material related to the training has been sent, it must be returned complete and undamaged in case of withdrawal.

Return shipping costs are borne by the consumer, except in cases of defective goods/services.

8) Defective Service

If the service is not performed in accordance with the legislation or the contract, the consumer may exercise their statutory rights. In this case, the refund/discount process will be carried out after the review is completed.
